This is another of my personal favourite Irish images. It’s of an abandoned schoolhouse which is located in one of the most picturesque parts of Ireland. It was actually a really overcast day when I took this image but thanks to a bit of luck the magical light managed to pop out just long enough to shoot off a couple of frames and then it was gone. I love the composition, light and texture and the sheep was a bonus!
If you look to the top right hand side of the image you will see a cave in the cliff face. This is Diarmuid and Grainne’s cave and it is one of the highest caves in Ireland, with one of the widest mouths. This glacial valley is most definitely worth a visit.
